Lamb's Knees Holiday Home was opened in October 2016. We were delighted to be awarded Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence for 2017, 2018 & 2019 and the new Travellers' Choice Award for 2020.

What a fantastic holiday home, the best we have visited.
It had everything you could ever need for kiddies, including an amazing fully stocked playroom. My three year old couldn't believe her eyes! It's very comfortable for adults too, with a snug complete with wood burner, well-equipped kitchen and lovely dining room for dinners after the children have gone to bed. The owners were so lovely too, and went out of there way to make everything perfect. Definitely the most child friendly place we've stayed.
This house is amazing and we have had a lovely weekend.
Lamb's Knees is a truly beautiful holiday home; an excellent base for walking, cycling and swimming (in the sea). We have had a memorable family holiday for a special birthday
Lovely house enjoyed by 3 generations. Great location for family acitivities and of course a fabulous playroom. Fabulous spa at home service as well.
Such a well kitted out home from home. Lots of lovely touches. Helpful information and great location. The baby stuff went down a treat. The cot was so comfortable our son (6 months) slept better than at home!
Brilliant stay, superb location, excellent house. Plenty of room for all and the toy room was exceptional. The attention to detail & the extras such as the Welcome Pack were much appreciated.

The first holiday we've had where the children didn't wake us at the crack of dawn as the playroom is there. So cozy and homely with everything we needed and more. We have had a wonderful stay here.
We have had an absolutely fantastic weekend here! I love the fact so much thought and care had been put into setting up the house for us - toys and books in the girls' cots etc. It was the first time the girls have slept anywhere other than home and they slept like logs!
Wow, just wow! What a fabulous house. We really could not have wanted or needed for anything else. So well thought out - such care and attention. You have a gem here! Absolutely immaculately clean as well. Suberb!

Your home has been an absolutely perfect, calm, retreat. A beautiful location to share many memories.
I stayed here for a weekend with my husband, 6 year old son and 11 month daughter. It's a lovely house, very clean, really spacious and great decor, and with a lovely back patio/garden. It's also incredibly family-friendly (and I worry that every other holiday rental I book in future is going to feel like a letdown in comparison in this regard). There is an amazing playroom with all sorts of toys for all ages of young children. There is a sturdy cot, change table, highchair and safety features such as stair gates. There was plenty of handy bits in case we had left anything at home e.g. a baby sleeping bag, a small supply of nappies and wipes etc. There was some food and drink in the kitchen/fridge waiting for us, and some snacks suitable for our kids' ages, which I thought was a lovely little touch. The owners are clearly very considerate and thoughtful people who really want to make family breaks (which, as other parents will probably know, sometimes just feel childcare-in-another-location) as enjoyable as possible. I felt like I was being spoilt by the owners all weekend, staying somewhere so clearly aimed at making family stays easier. What else? All communication with the owners was very straightforward and we always heard from the promptly. The house is very close to the shops, park parks and restaurants (check out The Front Room, we had a great meal there) of Seaford town centre. It's also a short walk from the beach and big play park, and a short drive from Drusilla'a zoo and mini theme park which we are big fans of. A detailed information pack was left out for us with info about the local area and attractions. We had a wonderful time here and are already thinking about when we can visit again.
What a fantastic holiday home, the best we have visited. Lambs Knees is in a great location on the edge of this lovely little town. It is just a short walk to the beach. The house is beautifully presented and has a fantastic kitchen and snug with woodburner, (which we didn't need because of the beautiful south coast weather ! ) The garden is lovely too, a great place to read or just sit and relax. The bedrooms are very comfortable and there is a wonderful play room in the attic, a hit with our great nephew and niece and their dads! We hope to come again soon. Thankyou.

Amazing, 5* beautiful house with every added touch you can imagine!We visited this half term with our three children aged 7, 3 and 1. If you have children and would like to actually relax on holiday then this is the place! There's stairs gates on every stair (which saved us having to constantly follow our adventurous 1 year old) There's plastic cutlery and sippy cups and every thing you could possibly need for a newborn up to toddler! The cot was beautiful! Makes a nice change from the normal travel cots you normally get when you travel. Nice soft mattress and gorgeous blanket to keep them cosy. The carpet in the bedroom was just as soft as the bed! Was a real treat! To top it off the playroom! WOW every kids dream! Our kids have never been so occupied for so long! The selection of toys was so vast I can't think of much that wasn't in there! The children are still talking about it now we are home :) The garden is a lovely place to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. You can hear the sea! So peaceful! The house was spotlessly clean! It's close to the shops which is handy. We will be going back again in the summer for another stress free, comfy break. :) Thank you Laura for being so friendly and understanding when we arrived so late and all the extras. You made us feel welcome and at home :)
If you have children and would like to actually relax on holiday then this is the place!
Simply perfect home from home.
It was a great location for us with a wide age range of folk staying, so was great for my father in his 80's being able to get into town and walk along the seafront. It was a good place for the younger ones (20's) with the cafes and pubs at walking distance.
The owners have thought of absolutely everything and made sure it's there. The playroom in particular is AMAZING. Our kids actually refused to go out one afternoon despite promises of rockpooling and ice creams as they just wanted to stay and play! The house is in a wonderful location - only a few minutes' walk to the beach, and right by all the shops and restaurants. There is so much to do in the area too (all very helpfully listed by the owner) - we were sorry to leave
Outstanding service; a real delight. Highly recommend. Incredibly thoughtfully prepared by the owners taking into account our children's ages which the owners had checked in advance. The house really has almost anything you could need including an amazing playroom for kids, was very comfortable and in a great location only minutes from the beach and all amenities. Plenty of information provided by the owners about local shops, restaurant recommendations etc. The local area has lots to offer and we were also provided with really useful guides to walks, local tourist attractions etc.
Immaculate home in a great spot. This is a character home with new home cleanliness. Very well equipped and an excellent location minutes from the High St and the beach. Provisions and fire ready to light with extensive information about the home and the area. Kids loved the playroom. Although my children are now older, I have never seen a holiday home so well equipped for an infant.
We had a fantastic stay at The Lamb's Knees. The house is very well equipped and brilliantly positioned a short stroll from the shops, restaurants and cafes of Seaford and the sea front is within easy walking distance. The house has a lovely little courtyard garden and the biggest draw for any guests with children is bound to be the incredible attic playroom which is every child's dream! Laura is a lovely host and left some lovely foodie treats for young and older guests to get the holiday started. Highly recommended!
Thanks for a great break. We managed to go rock pooling which is pretty cool for February.

Perfect Location for Breathtaking Walks
A beautiful house; immaculate yet homely. Extremely spacious and very child friendly.
The house is decorated with a lot of attention to detail and is located very close to the sea for swimming and to the city for shopping. Busses run regularly to Brighton and Eastbourne. It is wonderful to go hiking from Beachy Head to the Seven Sisters. the scones with clotted cream were wonderful to eat in the little garden
This is a character home with new home cleanliness. Very well equipped and an excellent location minutes from the High St and the beach. Although my children are now older, I have never seen a holiday home so well equipped for an infant.

A beautiful house, immaculately kept, perfect for families with young children, in a lovely location. It was equipped with everything you could possibly want.
My 3 year old daughter was entranced by all of the amazing games and toys that were available, while us grown ups felt rather spoilt with all the added additional luxuries.
The house is beautiful, deceptively large and extremely warm, cosy and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable and the wood burner in the kitchen a real luxury. The playroom space and selection of toys is amazing.
The house itself was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need for both ourselves (the adults) and the children. The wow factor was the amazing playroom on the top floor. It was wonderfully presented, fully stocked with toys for all age ranges. The train set and the kitchen were firm favourites with my son. The location is on a quiet road very near to the shops and the beach.
Perfect house in every way! We could not be more happier with where we had booked to stay. My niece who is 3 and son who is 14 thoroughly enjoyed the playroom, and secretly the adults did too, especially the men with the football table! The log burner in the snug is so lovely and we spent most evenings in there relaxing whilst cooking dinner or playing scrabble.
This is such a lovely house, ideally placed for lots of local amenities and fabulous walks. It's perfect for families due to the amazing toy room, we had to wrestle our daughter out of there!
Brilliant for families. The attic alone was worth the trip - it's a huge playroom packed with toys that kept our son entertained for hours. Seaford has everything you need for a relaxing weekend and the house is very safe and set up for toddlers.
We had a terrific few days at Lambs Knees. The house is beautiful and was brilliantly equipped for our two families. The kids adored the playroom and wanted to be up there all the time! Loads to do nearby and of course the beach and some gorgeous walks and scenery just down the road.
Amazing family friendly house. Fantastic house, big enough for two families with 4 children. Playroom amazing! All baby/toddler equipment that we could possibly need was provided. We all loved it. Lots to do and see with little ones in and around Seaford. Very thoughtful and attentive owner who went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay.

We have enjoyed a great week in your beautiful house & garden, such close proximity to restaurants, shops etc a real bonus. Enjoyed the coastal walks especially along to Hope Gap.
Perfect Autumn weekend in a cosy house. Lamb’s Knees was a perfect weekend break for our family of 6. Laura met us at the house and made us feel instantly welcome. The house itself is cosy, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, and an amazing play room at the top floor for the kids. The location is very close to the Seaford shops, restaurants, takeaways and pubs etc. As well as just a short walk to the Esplanade, beach and the start of the walk over Seaford Head to spectacular views of the Seven Sisters.
No words can express our delight and appreciation of our brief stay in this exceptional holiday house. In every aspect, Laura has shown thoughtfulness and attention to detail. It is a house we could live in permanently starting now!
The house definitely deserves the ‘luxury’ in the title as this was a cut above many other Air bnb properties. Laura was incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with. We regularly exclaimed “oh wow, look at this”, from the comprehensive files with local activities, to the laminated card explaining the Nespresso machine. The whole house was sparkling clean and one friend exclaimed “it’s like staying in a National Trust house” with all of the lovely furniture and thoughtful details. The area is lovely, with shops under a two minute walk away, but equally the sea and Seven Sisters all in easy walking distance. Would love to visit again.
